ABOUT US
From its inception in 1999, the Roadrunners Track & Field Club has been committed to the development and advancement of track and field in the Bahamas. We are a non-profit organization and an active member of the Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations. Over the years we have made amendments to our programs to address the social, spiritual, and academic needs of our athletes, in addition to engaging them in a year-round intensive track & field program. We are innovative in our thinking and are consistently designing new programs and initiatives that will help inspire and motivate our athletes to realize their talents and potential, and to achieve excellence in all areas of their lives.
This club is considered more than just a track and field organization; it is about nation-building and developing the whole man. The club works with Christian principals. Discipline, sportsmanship, and high moral standards are emphasized in the club’s daily programs. To continue educating our athletes about Bahamian history and culture, we have them visit cultural events and places of historical significance as a part of their recreational activities. We attend religious services on a regular basis and also emphasize the importance of high academic standards.
VISION STATEMENT
Provide wholesome means for athletes to develop mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, thereby developing the whole person.
MISSION STATEMENT
Afford each athlete the opportunity for personal development through the avenues of training and competition.

I am a part of the Roadrunners Track and Field Club where I serve as the current female captain. I have been a part of this establishment for over 7 years and during this time I have found a love for the 400 and the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best of 57.25 and 1.04.
With my talent, I plan on taking my love for track to the collegiate level. Besides athletics, I have found a passion and love for interior design and I intend on taking that as a major.
